Dan started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2008 when he was 18 years old.  He has been involved in competitive sports his entire life, and views Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as the next progression in his athletic career.  An active competitor, Dan has competed in numerous tournaments and events including the IBJJF, Fight to Win, UAEJJF, NAGA, and others.  His approach is sport-oriented, with a focus on takedowns and modern Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques.  Dan currently teaches several classes, including a weekly wrestling class.  To see Dan's breakdown content on YouTube, Instagram and Twitter, click HERE.
