• The Basics: These one-hour classes are held on Mat 2, and are geared toward students who are new to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This class always requires a gi.
• Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: Unless otherwise noted, these classes are open to all students, regardless of experience. These classes require a gi.
• Submission Grappling: These are also known as ‘No Gi’ classes, and require fitted shorts and a rash guard (tight active-wear material). These classes are open to all students, but these classes do tend to lean into more advanced material.
• Women’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu / Submission Grappling: Held separately on Mat 2, these classes are exclusive to women, and are taught by instructor and stand-out competitor Darla Sedlacek.
• Advanced: Any classes marked as ‘advanced’ require instructor permission to attend, without exception.
• Wrestling: This session heavily emphasizes takedowns and top control, and is always taught by Dan Sweeney of @dpsbreakdowns. This class requires No Gi apparel.
• Open Drills: This is additional time for students to practice techniques and sequences at lower resistance levels. Sparring is not permitted. Students may drill with or without the gi.• Sandals: The one piece of apparel required at ALL classes. In the locker rooms, in the main room, and especially when walking to the bathrooms.
